event-hog's page reads like a conference, and the pig is its face
A lanyard badge that sways, the features as a program, three ways to run it as passes, the workspace as a floor plan. And a pig for an icon.
Why Care?
event-hog is about to be shared on the internet. Now it has a page that says what it does in one look, and that looks like the place it’s built for.
What’s New?
- A lanyard badge in the hero. “Hello, we are event-hog. Your team’s memory at the show.” It sways gently, and stops for anyone who prefers reduced motion.
- The features, as a program. Before, during and after, with a time slot per session. Each one names the skill Claude loads and the tools it calls, so a reader can check the claim against the code. Unfinished pieces carry an “In progress” stamp instead of a promise.
- Three ways to run it, as passes. General Admission (no backend), Exhibitor (shared on Cloudflare Artifacts), All Access (paired with a CRM).
- The workspace as a floor plan. Each folder is a booth, and
Contacts__Met.csvis the registration desk. - Fine print. What the server enforces in code, next to what it only asks the model to do.
- The pig. A pink face with ears, eyes and snout is the favicon, the phone home-screen icon and the header mark.
- Three modes. Show floor (light), after hours (dark), keynote (vibrant).
Type is Big Shoulders Display, Atkinson Hyperlegible Next and Martian Mono. Search, sort and the changelog and context pages follow the Lossless splash conventions.
Tried and Reverted
A quieter version (wayfinding yellow on white, the arc above the fold, no badge) shipped as b933e30 and was reverted in b0b8d49. The badge is the page.
